Bought a 2 post lift and once received and started to install found out the posts were not properly layed out and centered on the mounting plate that bolts to the cement floor. This is supposed to be done during the manufacturing process before the post is welded to the plate. Mine was off by 1/2" . This may not sound like alot but after you measure three times and drill holes in your expensive cement floor you bolt down the plates only to find... Read more

Purchased a BENDPAK 10,000 LB lift in 2010. Great lift except it TAKES OVER 3 MINUTES to lower. Was advised to try atf that did nothing to help. Does anyone have any solutions to help this issue. When we do jobs that take 10 times lowering in a day a tech spends 30 minutes wasting time. That is a lot of money over a year. This lift is a XPR10ACX. Have had other BENDPAK lifts in the past with no issues like this. My other lift I bought after this... Read more

I truly love the lift, however the rubber they use failed when lifting my F350 truck. I only use lift a few times a year for my own cars / trucks and very dissatisfied with the rubber compound. They said I must have put it on a small area or joint, truth is the frame is about 11/2" wide, pretty much standard for frames. They just need a tougher material. I have a friend that is in business and uses a different brand and has not yet after... Read more

After six years and countless leaking lines, Hydraulic locks that have been replaced 5 times in six years, And now there telling me that I should just replace it because it's rusted and the left side raise's 1 1/2 inch lower than the right. Of course it's our fault! we must have set a vehicle that was to heavy on it. After 26 years in business, And thousands of vehicles put on lifts, raised and lowered daily. I think we know how to set a vehicle... Read more

We bought 4 BendPak auto lifts. The city demanded we get a permit for them. The inspector from the L.A. Dept. of Bldg. and Safety refused to issue a permit because the lifts did not bear a certification from a known lift testing lab (the importance of which, BendPak makes quite a fuss about on their website). We were fined and ordered to remove the lifts. BendPak refused to replace the lifts and to install the new, certified lifts at their... Read more

We purchased two 7k BENDPAK scissor lifts for our shop. Spent over $9,000. Have had nothing but problems with one of them. It has been down 10 times in 12 months. All of the concerns have been safety concerns. Peoples lives in danger here....BENDPAK really has no interest in correcting the concern, which should be to replace this LEMON of a hoist. The other one has been fine. We are getting ready to expand our shop and will have 9 new... Read more
